The Superior Court is Georgia's general jurisdiction trial court. It has jurisdiction over both criminal cases such as felony cases, divorce cases, equity cases and cases that involve a jury. For example, if you are charged with a misdemeanor or traffic violation but request a jury trial, you will be transferred to Camden County Superior Court. 

Camden County is part of the Brunswick Judicial Circuit. There are five judges on the circuit that rotate through multiple counties. Honorable Stephen G. Scarlett is the Chief Judge for the Brunswick Judicial Circuit and his office can be reached at 912-554-7356. Judge Anthony Harrison, Judge Stephen D. Kelley, Judge Roger B. Lane, and Judge Robert W. Guy, Jr. are the other four judges that serve on Bruswick Judicial Circuit. Jackie L. Johnson is the District Attorney and her office can be reached at 912-427-6379. Camden County Probate Court prosecutes misdemeanors and traffic violations that occur in Camden County but outside of the City Limits of Kingsland and St. Mary's. Judge Robert Sweatt Jr. presides over Camden County Probate Court. Probate Court is held at 210 E. 4th Street, Woodbine, Georgia 31569. Kingsland Municipal Court

Traffic violation tickets that occur in Kingsland will go before Kingsland Municipal Court. The Judge for Kingsland Municipal Court is the Honorable Robert C. Sweatt and Judge Terry D. Wheeler.
